REPORT ON FRIGO RETAIL OUTLETS’ TURNOVER FROM 2000 TO 2002

A comparative report on Frigo’s turnover during a 3-year period was requested by the Management Committee.

This report shows  3 kinds of retail outlet owned by Frigo.

– Firstly, Department stores that achieved a figure of £50 million  in 2000, suffered a sharp decrease  going down to £35 million  in 2001, remaining stable in that turnover during 2002.

– Secondly, in Supermarkets where there was a steady growth in sales, a turnover of £65 million was reached in 2000, increased 5 points during 2001  and  peaked to £80 million in 2002.

– Finally, a date of fluctuation in Small shops. With a figure of  £30 million in 2000, the sales dropped to £20 million in 2001, rising slightly to £25 milion in 2002.

In conclusion, this report shows that Supermarkets were in continuos growth, while Department stores remained stable in a lower level, contrasting with Small shops that fluctuated during the 3-year period.
