A BUSINESS SCHOOL IN SPAIN

Hi classmates!

I know you missed me last Thursday, didn’t you?.

I’ve done a bit of research about one of the most important business schools, in Spain,  the IESE.

Some documents required by IESE, in order to be accepted, are:

— Official transcripts of your university degree (Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) degree). Applicants must submit one original transcript from each college and graduate institution attended for more than 6 months.

— The GMAT (The Graduate Management Admission Test) is mandatory for all candidates. You should know that the average score for students is 672.

— An English Language Test is required for applicants whose first language is not English. This requirement will be waived:

· For those who have obtained a university degree in an English-speaking country while residing in that country. Students must demonstrate a minimum of two years of full-time study toward their degree.

· For those who have worked in a full-time capacity in an English-speaking country for at least two years.

— Two letters of recommendation.

— Proof of payment of the application fee. (For the program beginning in September 2009, the cost of the entire MBA is €67,900. This includes most course materials and health insurance.)

Due to the nature of the case study method is recommended to have a minimum of two years work experience so that students have professional experience to share in class. Some average statistics for their class profile are: 27 years old, work experience of four years, 672 in GMAT and 80% students from outside Spain.

Finally, before being admitted, pre-candidates will participate in a personal interview.
